Error forecasting a canceled absence

When an employee tries to forecast a canceled absence with out changing any thing, then the following error is encountered - "An error occurred while constructing the customized forecasting message for Absence Take: <Absence Take> Please contact your system administrator. Date Time: "

I founds 2 options to get away with this:

1) If we mimic an edit on the absence, by either changing a date to something else and back again, or anything else then it works. Or clicking on Check eligibility for the second time works as the first one is changing the workflow status to 'Saved'.

2) If 'Canceled' workflow status is included in the Absence Forecast Transactions, then it works.
