SYS audit logs Archive and purge best practice

we need to retain the logs that are of one month old, that means, more than one month old logs need to be archived and purged.

Let us know your approach on how the logs will be archived .

Please note the logs should be accessible to us as we will be running reports based on this.

For example, we may want to run a report/query to find out who has updated a db object on a specific date.
