ODA Huge Page / Large Page Sizing

I was looking at (Doc ID 2220254.1). Our current ODA X8-2 HA (384GB allocated memory) has the below memory settings. Can the vm.nr_hugepages be increased on an ODA or will increasing them cause memory/performance issues?

We want to increase the memory allocated to our DB's and possibly add another db but we're getting ORA-27102 errors. The ODA is non production and I have an opportunity to restart it.
