Getting "ORA-12720: operation requires database is in EXCLUSIVE mode " during cloning process

in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) (MOSC) 4 comments

We are cloning 19c db with backup of 12.1.0.2 db.

Getting following errors :

RMAN-03002: failure of Duplicate Db command at 03/04/2021 17:33:49

RMAN-05501: aborting duplication of target database

RMAN-06136: Oracle error from auxiliary database: ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed

ORA-12720: operation requires database is in EXCLUSIVE mode
