OMF naming convention

Hello all,

Question about OMF

I have 13 PDB's and going to create some application pdb's to test for potentially moving our 13 pdb's into application pdb's .

The set up

OS Linux Redhat

ASM 19.7

Oracle DB Enterprise Edition 19.7

The question:

Should the Application PDB have a different db_create_file_dest then the root? Is there a best practice or is it per DBA preference?

I wasnt sure if this should be a question or discussion but i had a questions so here i am :)
