Deprecation of Provisioning for WebLogic 14.1+, SOA and Service Bus 12.2.1.3+ in Enterprise Manager

Hello Everyone,

This is to announce that we are deprecating select Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control monitoring features (Reference KM Doc 2731951.1)


What is being deprecated:

The Middleware provisioning feature that remotely installs WebLogic 14.1 and above, SOA and Service Bus Domain 12.2.1.3 and above and Oracle Homes, using automated deployment procedures is being deprecated.


Impact

Enterprise Manager Cloud Control will not support the provisioning of Middleware domains and Oracle Homes, beginning with WebLogic 14.1 and SOA/Service Bus 12.2.1.3.

WebLogic 12.2.1.4 and SOA/Service Bus 12.2.1.2 are the final versions that Enterprise Manager supports the middleware domain and Oracle Home provisioning.
