AOLJ JSP and Java API for File Streaming

Hi All,

I see Oracle has released a java based API & AOLDataStreaming.jsp to enable users to stream documents via BI publisher.

However, I am unable to understand how is this different from existing BI publisher functionality? Presently, we are streaming different output types such as "PDF, excel, etc via BI publisher, can someone please help me understand how is this functionality different from existing?
