How does JDE Orchestrator Health Monitoring work?

Dear all,

I have a questions on how JDE Orchestrator monitor and alert administrator when one of the connector to 3rd party software have broken/not working? Is the Health Monitoring able to do the work? If yes, do you have any documentation on how to set it up? If not any other tools used to monitor those, if possible also traffic volume.
