UPC Code Generation

Hello Fellow JDE Users,

I am reaching out to the community in hopes others can share their business' practice for generating UPC Codes to be entered into the Shipping application's UCC UOM and UCC Code fields. My users are currently creating each code manually in Excel and individually then copy and paste the values into JDE and I am seeking ideas on how to improve the process to be semi or fully automated, potentially using a 3rd party service and curious what others may be doing for this task as no standard Oracle solution exists.
