Talent Profile Icons in 12.2.10 ECC V5 and SSHR

There is a note that says to personalize the Talent Profile page to see the icons.

How to display icons in the Talent Profile Regions ? (Doc ID 2623093.1)

The problem is it only works for one region that does not have a x or blank icon. All other regions are hard coded to host:port/adsbin/fm/downloaddump/dbfiles/applcsf/cust/media/TP_.gif, no matter what personalization is set to. Has anyone gotten these icons to work on 12.2.10?
