Planned arrival dates on trip stop not considering delivery lead time

We have set up transit times between our internal location and customer location/region and the setup seems to be working as the delivery lead time and scheduled arrival date are being derived accurately on the sales order lines. However, the planned arrival date on the trip stop is not considering the transit time and instead defaulting to either the scheduled ship date or request date for the drop-off stop. I did change the delivery date calculation method on the global parameters form to "Earliest ship date, Latest delivery date" based on recommendation in Doc ID 1231373.1. Our ultimate goal is to pass the expected arrival date to our customer on the ASN submitted via EDI. We are using Oracle Shipping Execution 12.1.3.
