Oracle EBS Java Web Start - AutoOpenAllowedForURLs AutoOpenFileTypes issue with Simplified view

Hi,


Following note 2188898.1 , after having implemented java web start, we have enabled following Edge policies AutoOpenFileTypes and AutoOpenAllowedForURLs. I have noticed that this “best user experience” is working with the settings > preferences set to “Framework Tree” or “Framework Only”.


But, when user is using “Framework Simplified” and clicking on its favorite(s) icon, we are getting the harm warning message (no warning message is raised if we are using the navigator). It seems the policy is not working with "javascript:launchform". (fyi, exact same behavior with Chrome)


As we have a lot of users with “Framework Simplified”, I would like to know if some of you found a fix for this issue as we are not expecting the warning message. I also have a service request in parallel with Oracle but it is not progressing at all...
