Can items be setup in KGs and LBs?

I am wondering if items can be setup in KGs and LBs or when printing BOL's is their a flag you can set to have the system do a conversion if necessary? Currently, our business has items either setup in LBs or KGs (not both), the issue is sometimes we will enter a Sales order in LBs for an item setup in KGs and vice versa. When it comes to printing the BOL, sometimes we are having issues with the system knowing the correct number of packages on the order. So, really the main question, is there
