Bill of Material vs Rework Bill of Material

in Discrete Manufacturing - EBS (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi

In our manufacturing process, we have a normal bill of material where you have an assembly item (FG1) and multiple raw materials (R1, R2, R3)


We also have a Rework Bill of Material (an Alternate BOM) where the Assembly Item (FG1) is reprocessed. In this situation, we need the Assembly Item and the Component Item need to be the same with one or 2 raw materials like solvents.


Oracle Bill of Material form doesnt allow me to enter FG1, in Assembly as well as Component screen. Any suggestions?
