I intend to install and configure Oracle locator on a oracle 11.2.0.4 standard version and like to clarify a few things please. Currently, Oracle multimedia is not installed (user MDSYS doesnt exist) and the database does not also have JVM and XML (See database queries below). My plan is to launch DBCA to modify the database by ensuring the "Standard Database Components" JVM and Oracle Multimedia are selected and installed.

Can this modification via DBCA be made while users are logged on to the database and hope a database bounce is not required.

is there any other step i need to be aware of?
