Payslip Modeler - Changing Resident State - no change in results

Hello - we are on EBS 12.2.7 and just now implementing the Payslip Modeler. During testing, we changed our resident state from MD to VA. But the results did not reflect VA State taxes, still MD.

Is this normal? Is there another config needed to calculate the different state?
