some logic didn't run in local web

Dear Expert,

I've created a custom interactive version on JDE PY Environment.

When I test the application, I found that there is a logic that works differently between local desktop and local web.

The logic is so simple, just trimming a Grid Column. It works well on local desktop client but didn't work on local web client.

Why there is a difference between the two? Can anyone explain to me?

FYI, we use JDE E1 9.1 tools release 9.1.5
