TAG NUMBERING LOGIC IN ORACLE EBS R12.1.3

Dear Team,

What is the best practice to assign Tag Numbers to different Assets Categories. What naming convention (logical grouping) should be part of Tag Numbers. Based on this logic we will built custom program to print BARCODES.
