OracleAHF (20.2) calls opatch -lsinventory every few mins [3:15am to 5:30am]

Hello Oracle Community,

Has anyone else encountered this unfortunate oddity from TFA/OracleAHF ?

Investigation of excessive disk usage (Oracle Homes and Grid Homes) on a 19.6 two node RAC with TFA 20.2 installed, has found that the AHF is calling Opatch lsinventory every few minutes on the second node, from 3:15am to approx 5:30am.

This then fills the following locations with text files: (the inventory listing)

/u01/app/oracle/product/19c/dbhome_1/cfgtoollogs/opatch/lsinv/

/u01/app/12.2.0/grid/cfgtoollogs/opatch/lsinv

/u01/app/grid19c/cfgtoollogs/opatch/lsinv

and fills the opatch directory (one directory level up) with log files... (from opatch lsinventory being called).
