R12.1.3 11.2.0.4db - upgrade OS to SLES 12

Hi,

We are currently running R12.1.3 11.2.0.4db Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.5 JDK7 on 64bit SLES 11 - need to upgrade Operating System from 64bit SLES 11 to 64 bit SLES 12 . Per MOS, Target techstack is certified.

Looking to confirm EBS related steps for upgrade of Operating System from 64bit SLES 11 SP4 to 64 bit SLES 12 SP5:

Per 761566.1 - Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes R12.1.1 for Linux x86-64 Mar 2021:

  1. Follow SUSE Note upgrade procedure of the operating system to do an in-place upgrade of OS from SLES 11 SP4 to SLES 12 SP5 - kernels specs specified in Note 761566.1
  2. Apply other EBS patches for SLES 12 mentioned in 761566.1
