Can a Report viewed in PDF open externally instead of in the browser?

Hello,

We are upgrading from Hyperion 11.1.2.4 to 11.2.3. With this comes a change in supported browser from IE to Edge.

When we try to run a report through Explore, and select the "PDF Preview" option, using Edge or Chrome, we get the following error:


The problem we have is the "Always open PDF files externally" property is set through global policy and individuals cannot set it personally. If we set the property as advised, the PDF Preview works for Hyperion reports, but all other applications open PDFs externally using Adobe Reader, not in the browser.

Is there a way for Hyperion reports to open externally in Adobe instead of the browser?
