Upgrade 12c => 19c with Dataguard

Hello,

We are going to upgrade a 12.2.0.1 database to 19c in a Data Guard environment with the AutoUpgrade tool.

Here is the principle:


- Stop the Broker

- Stop the standby

- Upgrade the primary to 19c

- Modify a specific parameter recommended by the editor in 19c.

- Validate the upgrade of the primary in 19c.

- Point the standby on the 19c

- Reactivate the standby

- Reactivate the broker


What do you think of the storyline and the sequence of actions?

Will the specific parameter applied on the primary be automatically applied on the standby?
