Have a question:

Core Banking Software Vendor requires not to gather statistics on any objects.


Kindly ask you to tell me following:

Could database lead better performance without fresh statistics?

In which cases can fresh statistics impact on Database performance??

P.S

Core Banking Software runs on Exadata X5 ptatform.

Database version is 12c RAC.
