Frequent data file resizing

in Database Tuning (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

Hello,


I often see our data files for tablespaces are resized from our alert log. Not all tablespaces are same. Some tablespaces are resized more frequently than others. My question is: does frequent data file resizing cause any performance degradation? And How frequent resizing is considered excessive?
