trying to add linux host target with EM 13.4 RU 9 , deploy agent fails

dear all,

i have spent the best part of my weekend trying to perform a fresh install of the OEM Agent on a Linux 64 bit Host.

The server i am trying to deploy the agent to is running Redhat Linux 7. tried the different procedures with SSH and with the named credentials, but nothing is working.

i am able to ssh from the OMS machine to the target host with the credentials i have provided to OEM.

is there a way to download the agent 13.4.0 and copy to the server and then run the installation procedure ?

This is way too complicated right now trying to do it from OEM 13.4.0 console
