Is it possible to limit the Unit of Measure list of values ?

Hi,

In the current instance there's a list of more than 100 unit of measures for each Class. I'm wondering if there's a way to limit the Unit of Measure list of values at the item level so that when a transaction is performed only the applicable unit of measures will be displayed against an inventory item.

e.g - If we need to raise a purchase order against Item ABC and the only applicable UoM are Kg and g then only those will be displayed. Any other UoM such as oz, lb will not be displayed. This will reduce the user errors.
