R12.1.3 Contract Terms Library Item Category System Variable LOV - No Results Found

Hi All

Hope everyone is safe and sound.

We attempted to define a contract expert rule with "Sell" Intent using the seeded system defined variable "Item Category" for a condition.

However, no results were found in the LOV for Item Category.

Does anyone know if there is a prerequisite setup that needs to be enabled. We searched MOS for clues and documentation to no avail.

Sounded pretty straight forward. The "Item" Variable work perfectly fine. However we do understand that Item Categories are dynamic objects and with that come with additional complexities because the structure is based on how the KFF is defined for each category to which that structure has been assigned.
