How to not trigger both Supplier Change Request Workflow and Supplier Workflow

Hi We have both PeopleSoft Supplier Change Request and Supplier Workflow On. Once a SCR is approved, the Supplier Workflow seems to get triggered. Is there a configuration what will prevent the Supplier Worflow to be triggered or auto approved if the SCR is the one triggering the change/CI?
