Upgrading to EM 13.4, impact of 12c Agents.

We are planning our upgrade from EM 13.3 to EM 13.4. We understand that 12c Agents are not supported in EM 13.4, but we have a small number of 12c agents which may not get upgraded because they need an OS upgrade and it may not be complete by our EM upgrade date. What will happen if we try to upgrade without eliminating all 12c agents.

Does the EM 13.4 installer check for 12c agents and stop the upgrade if they exist?

Will the 12c agents be able to connect to the 13.4 OMS? If not, will they just be marked as down?

Is it that the 12c agents will not work or is it just that they are not supported, as in opening support requests?
