Tree Manager Range From/To Lookups Blank

At UTA we need to add a new organization to our ACAD_ORGANIZATION table (Main -> Tree Manager -> Tree Manager), but when adding the detail nodes, the Range From and Range To lookups don't list any subjects. It seems to be because the Academic Institution value for the search record (SUBJECT_SRCH_VW) is blank, but I can't find any way to set the value. Presumably something has changed in the setup since we last updated it in 2015. Has anyone else run into this issue? Does anyone have a fix or a workaround?
