Guided Self Service Options for Managers

We are wanting to implement the Fluid GSS for MSS but are being told it will need to have a modification to limit the options to Reporting Request Change and Terminate Employee because security is tied into a single component. Is there a work around for this?

We are on PUM36 PT8.56
