Administering Exadata - DBA Access Privileges

Hello,

Looking for recommendations (or industry standards) on how Engineered Systems like Exadata is managed and administered in an Organization with traditional DBA & SA teams, especially when they have a mandate of Segregation of Duties as per auditing controls ?

Also, will DBA's having elevated access to Exadadata Machine (hardware and OS) like root/sudo to root impact the support contract with Oracle ?

there is a DMA role defined, how can traditional teams transition into this role ?
