Additional Information in Po workflow

Dear All ,


We are using the seeded workflow from Oracle for the approvals for PO approvals .Now the business is seeking for additional fields in the notification page for the approvers for a well informed approvals .

Have some questions 

1.Any experience (Good ,Bad Ugly) on carrying out the customization of the seeded workflow .

2.Post customization has it survived the version upgrades and patching...

Looking forward for views/comments and suggestions..we are on 12.1.3.
