Oracle Duplicate - Archivelogs in 2 different locations

Hi all,

I like to duplicate to a point in time from backup. Unfortunately some archivelogs of the target had been backed up to disk; others to tape. If I open 2 rman channels (1 to disk; 1 to tape) will that work during the recover ? Will rman check both locations if required archivelog is available required to recover the datafile ?
