Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Not able to use X11 Forwarding. How do we set the DISPLAY variable?

We're trying to install FMW and running into problems establishing the GUI to run the installation. These are the errors we're receiving:

Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors. DISPLAY environment variable not set. Failed <<<<
error when installing fmw
Exception in thread "main" java.awt.AWTError: Can't connect to X11 window server using 'localhost:0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.
X11 Forwarding is enabled in SSHD
tried enabling X11 Forwarding in Putty

Any recommendations and assistance will be greatly appreciated!
