PO Update in rejection status

hi Team,

We are using PDOI to update PO quantity when PO is in rejection status. how ever we had noticed quantity is getting updated but revision still remains the same. we are using EBS R12.2.8, is this the expected functionality where updating a rejected PO does not increment revision
