HsGetValue errors out when I attempt to call parent account

Using Smart View (ver 20.100 (Build 230)) in Excel (Oracle ERP Cloud 20D). I am being required to use a fully qualified name on a member that is a parent, but not when i call a child account. The error tells me there is a duplicate value but I am unable to locate any other instances in any dimensions. I thought it might be due to having both a Base and Current chart of accounts, but I have only published the Current version.
