Page Configurator

We are in the middle of upgrading to PUM 36 and we are looking at using page configurator to replace some of the customizations we have in place. I am having some difficulty figuring out what Page Configurator can and cannot do for classic or classic plus pages.

It appears that PC can only be used for actual data pages and not on search/landing pages (i.e Job Code Table, Workforce Job Summary, etc). Does hiding or graying out fields on these search pages still require a customization?

Also, we have some delivered fields where we have added a custom prompt table. Page Configurator does not appear to be able to do this either. Am I missing some steps in the process that or something in the documentation that describes how to do this?
