MySQL Cloud to Oracle RDBMS 12c on prem via ODI 11g

Hi,

I am trying to figure out if it is possible to extract data from a MySQL database sitting in the cloud and to load that data into an on prem Oracle instance via on prem ODI 11.1.1.7 (g).

I am assuming it IS possible. It should be possible but I am unsure what steps I need to take. I'll need to set up the topology, LKM, potentially install a MySQL driver etc etc but how is connecting to a Cloud MySQL different to an on prem MySQL instance? Open up the firewall where required I assume but should it be pretty much seamless from there?
