Technical upgrade from 11i to 12.2.9- template attribute mass update

We are doing an upgrade from 11i to 12.2.9 Oracle EBS. Inventory Item templates are looking at new fields as required. We need to do a mass update of an templates for a org controlled attribute. Is there a dashboard for inventory to do this or a sql in toad to update? Consultants advised to put in a SR to Oracle but wanted to try here first.
