Short Tax Year

in Fixed Assets - EBS (MOSC) Question

We are using 12.2 of the Financial modules, GL, AP, FA, CASH MGT, PROJECT BILLING, INV, PROCUREMENT, AND E-BIZ TAX. We are changing our fiscal year from Jan-Dec to Jul-Jun. We are assuming that for Assets, we will have to use the Short Tax Year configuration and functionality. The Assets user guide details how to add assets in a short tax year, but not how to set it up. Is there any documentation on implementing a Short Tax Year?
