MDSYS sql with a huge amount of executions.

Hello ! We have this sql executing millions of time during a batch window.

Not sure where it originates, talking to our app developers it should not come from the app.

Parsing schema is MDSYS . Tried to find out if this is some kind of internal oracle sql

but cannot find anything. Anyone seen this ? Possibly executed "By us" since module = sql*plus ?

I have tuned and removed the impact, but still curious where it comes from.
