EBS 12.2.8 How do you estimate PPE accrued depreciation in conjunction with the PJ Costing module?

Hello,

Our organization has a significant amount of capital spend, primarily in construction projects related to our production processes, which we track utilizing the Oracle EBS 12.2.8 project costing module.

I'm looking for insights into how other organizations may be utilizing the project costing module and assessing accrued depreciation pending the setup of assets within Oracle EBS? Is there a component of the project costing module that can do this for us? Are you using a method outside of Oracle? 

Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
