Advanced Formula - If-Then-Else

I am attempting to use the If-Then-Else Advanced Formula function in V20.12.3. In an attempt to be very simple just to make sure it's working as I expect, I set up this formula in custom text field on the upper form:

 (uxIDRCriticalCB = '0' ? No : Yes) 

uxIDRCriticalCB is a Sys Checkbox field, so it's an integer type. 0 = unselected, 1 = selected.

So, I'd think that with this set up, if the check box is unchecked (0), the advanced formula should return a No. However, when I check the Sample Calculations, here is what I get:

I've also tried it with a Date If-Then-Else using this:
