Can user manually enter in transit shipment information in Manage Shipments Form

Hello,

Just wanted to confirm if there is a way user can manually enter the supplier shipment information in the manage shipment form used for tracking intransit shipments. For purchase orders , is using EDI file the only way to upload intransit information? Internal shipments done through requisition do show up on the manage shipments form.

Any help would be great.
