X5-2 VP upgrade to 19.8

Hi all !


We have recently triggered bug 29923323 (non-public) where oda_base + vm's hangs / get unresponsive. This is the info we've got from orasup:

Issue would occur when the existing loop devices become stale and can't find a free loop device for the new VM(oda_base) start.

The bug suggestion is to restart the DOM0 to clean up stale mounts and the bug is not feasible to fix and suggest upgrading the latest supported ODA version.


This give us no other alt than upgrade ...

Anyone experienced similar problems ?

Why does this intermittently trigger now, no changes made as far as we know ... we've been on 18.8 for +6 months !?
