CSV option for scheduled reports

For scheduled reports (UDRs) we have the option to deliver in PDF or XML but not CSV.

Being able to choose CSV would provide great value to data consumers. Is this functionality on the roadmap? If not, why? This functionality is a basic option in most all applications.

I know this has been asked before, I can't locate the thread(s)/answer(s).
