Oracle Solaris 10 April 2021 patches released

Oracle Solaris 10 quarterly patch release for April 2021 is complete - individual patches, Recommended and CPU patchsets are available on MOS.


Notable fixes include:

  • Problem with CDE/SEC-LABELING - CVE-2021-2167 (Bug 31695258)
  • Heap buffer overflow in FreeType handling of embedded PNG bitmaps - CVE-2020-15999 (Bug 32047894)
  • Upgrade to OpenSSL 1.0.2x, fixing CVE-2020-1968, CVE-2020-1971 (Bug 32247243)
  • SunSSH server dumping core with 2048-bit DSA host keys (Bug 32387925)
  • Backing out patch 151717-01 breaks zsh (Bug 21880472)
