Rolling opatchauto apply of Grid Home?

Is it supported to use the "-rolling" option for opatchauto to carryout a rolling patch application to a Grid Home?

This command fails:

opatchauto apply $PATCH_DIR/32226239 -oh /u01/app/19.0.0.0/grid -rolling

The logs indicate "Invalid arguments: [-rolling], even though patch 32226239 states "can be applied in a rolling fashion".

Is anyone successfully doing Grid Home rolling updates with opatchauto?
