Sales Order last status on Order Reprice line not changing

I set up an Order level Advanced Price adjustment to add a Surcharge line through order Reprice (R42750) in Sales Orders . This is working fine and adding a new line at 920 - 574. When the SO is processed through Invoice and Sales Update, the last status of Surcharge line remains as 920, the next status moves as per order activity rules. Sales Ledger also is written with last status 920 for all the subsequent status changes.

Could anyone tell me why this is happening?
